How to solve the problem of Edge Curl during the rewinding of Clear on Clear materials.

When slitting and rewinding double-sided transparent (clear on clear) materials, the edges of the rewound roll often tend to curl up or lift.

Here are our suggestions for adjusting the circular knives and counter knives to help resolve the issue:

1.Adjust the knife angle

    Please loosen or tighten the screw as shown in the reference image to modify the blade angle.

2.Angle direction

    Adjust the angle slightly toward the BR direction. The recommended angle setting is approximately -0.5 degrees.

3.Cutting depth

    Set the cutting knife depth to 1 mm.

4.Blade condition

    Ensure the blade is new and sharp. A sharp blade helps prevent the knife from jumping, reduces edge burrs, and minimizes curling at the      roll edges during slitting.
